If you are going to Gdansk enamour yourself by referring to it as "Danzig".

Greet the locals by saying "Pear Doll She" to everyone you meet ( saying
this to doormen can also get you in free )

Koorva can mean many things and should be used liberally - in restaurants,
trains, busses etc - its kinda like a universal, "Hi", "I'm OK" "Hello -
"how are you" kind of thing.

A fun day out is a trip to the Wieliczka Salt Mines - its a great day out
and a taxi should only cost about ?5 for a round trip The Taxi driver might
look surprised but just reply " Is I a beasty ? " which he will understand.
