Potrzebuje tłumaczenia z angielskiego kilku wyrażeń medycznych, stąd ten
crosspost. W nawiasie podaję kontekst.

1. taphanomic process (due to the taphanomic process which occured over a
period 2,000 years the skeleton was in a poor stake of preservation)

2. friable (Being friable and fragmentary, with many postmortem breaks - to
dokładnie następne zdanie po powyższym)

3. asphyxiation (Scgolars have regarded asphyxiation as being the cause of
death). Tutaj chodzi chyba o uduszenie, ale nie jestem pewien, bo uduszenie
(się) to suffocation.

4. intercostalis muscles (For exhaling to occur in a normal manner two sets
of muscles are needed, the diaphragm and the intercostalis muscles).

5. a flail (to niemedyczne, też nie mam tego w słowniczkach - This is
attested to by the Mishriaic passage which states that both Jews and
Amorites may carry a flail or whip from a crucifixion as a means of
healing.)
